What types of businesses work good at home?

There are thousands if not millions of types of businesses available. Ranging from ice cream venders to banks to yard maintenance firms to companies like Kontera (and other companies that help people make money online) the possibilities for which type of business you want to start are endless.

However, not all of these are good for a work at home environment. Some of them require personnel for you to employ and you cannot do that from your house. For example, the yard maintenance business will require you to hire tons of gardeners and you also will need space to store your equipment, not to mention having to deal with city zoning rules. If you start an in-text monetization company, you will need to hire people to market it. But there are a few businesses that you can run from the comfort of your home:

Write 25 blog posts per day

Many companies will pay people to get articles published in blogs and online journals, and also to write the articles. These companies are often separated into content teams and public relations teams, where the content teams write the articles and the public relations teams get them posted. Once you have your foot in the door with this industry you can start your own company and work with other bloggers.

Make a blog and host ads

This type of business requires knowledge of something like a niche whose products people buy online (travel, finance, and health products, for example). Then, what you do is you place advertisements with services like AdSense and alternatives to Infolinks like INTENTclick and Kontera. Once people start viewing your site they will begin to click your ads, and the money will roll on in.
